My current favorites
I love the new purple/graphite color scheme of several of Lia's new Fall/Winter necklaces.
A portion of proceeds from the Empress (above center) go to Dress For Success, a non-profit organization devoted to providing disadvantaged women with professional attire, support and career development skills.
These necklaces range from $68 to $98 and I wasted no time adding them all to my kit. I wear them frequently and always garner compliments on the styles and gorgeous color palette.
The necklace that started it all....
The only reason I booked a show to begin with was that I had to have this necklace for my mom's birthday.
I'm really not a gold person, but I love turquoise and when paired with the hammered gold links, this looked like something out of the Sundance catalog.
The Tahoe retails for $88, so this is definitely a show-booker.
Here's how it works:
Hostesses can choose four items (any under $100) from the catalog for $15 each, as well as an additional two items at 50% off.
On top of that, she will receive jewelry credit that depends on the amount of sales her show draws. Shows with a sales total of $250 or more automatically receive 20% of the sales in jewelry credit (i.e. a show that totals $400 will result in an $80 credit in free jewelry from the catalog) Shows that result in 10 orders, along with two outside bookings from guests entitle the hostess to 40% of her sales in credit (with a $15 fee--even still, an $800 show means $320 worth of jewelry for $15, even for me, and I'm one heck of a bargain hunter.)
My suggestion to all hostesses is to take advantage of the $15 bonus items. Snatch up the $70-$98 necklaces and bracelets at a better discount than I get as an advisor. Use the jewelry credit for the matching earrings (less expensive) and you can get quite a lot of jewelry for $100.
